About the facility

The Neuroscience department is the largest regional Neuroscience department within Victoria.  Providing all Neuro diagnostics plus consultative services to Geelong and surrounding regions.

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic self-starter to work in our Neuroscience department. We will provide mentoring support plus on-the-job training to the right candidate. In this role you will be responsible for the neurophysiological clinical testing of inpatients and outpatients within the University Hospital Neuroscience Department.  Comprehensive training will enable you to perform EEG and Evoked Potentials, assist with EMG's and NCS as well as reviewing and connecting video EEG monitoring patients. Selection Criteria Essential: Can you please list Barwon Health's values?

Essential: Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Applied Science, preferably with physiology, psychophysiology or biophysics.
Essential: Able to work with patients, explain testing procedures and keep patient calm during the tests.
Essential: Good understanding of instrumentation used in Neurophysiology (Compumedics, Cadwell).
Desirable: Experience in the field of Neurophysiology.
