About the facility
The McKellar Centre offers a range of aged care and rehabilitation services that enable people to make a dynamic recovery. It is situated on a vibrant community asset with parkland surrounds and incorporates state-of-the-art equipment. Adzen is a high level secure unit with 45 beds at McKellar Centre that provides residential care for older people suffering from Dementia and is conveniently located in North Geelong.
About the role
We require a competent experienced Registered Nurse who is interested in working part time, night shifts with annual leave relieving as part of this position as an Associate Nurse Unit Manager.
You will have well developed communication skills and an interest in aged care nursing. You will have the ability to plan, organise and coordinate your own work as well as directing the enrolled nurses you will be working with. Your time management skills will be well developed and you will be able to cope with changing circumstances within your team environment.
