About the facility 

Barwon Health has five major community health centres, Corio, Belmont, Newcomb, Torquay and Anglesea which provide a range of services to the Barwon region. Some of these services include: counselling, diabetic educators, physiotherapy, nursing, occupational therapy, speech pathology, dental services and many more.  

About the role 

The Social Supports Program is described as ‘an opportunity for clients to attend and participate in social interactions which are conducted away from the client’s home’ through structured activities that ‘are provided in a group-based environment and designed to develop, maintain and support social interaction and independent living.’

The role of the Team Leader is to support the program function in the day to day operation and to work collaboratively with the Coordinator and Manager regarding key performance indicators and program development and delivery.

This position will require you to work across Belmont, Torquay, Norlane and Anglesea subject to needs of the service delivery.
