About the facility 

The Customer Services Department delivers a broad range of administrative support across Barwon Health including busy front line receptions including Emergency/SSU, Admissions and Cashiers. Patient Liaison, McKellar @ Patients Accounts where we are available to provide support and advice to any departments seeking to improve their admission processes, billing and increase revenue streams, improve collections or implement new billing initiatives.

About the role 

As a Customer Service Officer in Emergency and Short Stay Unit you will provide outstanding levels of customer service to patients, consumers and our internal customers, whilst providing clerical support to the ED Nursing and Medical staff. Essential: Can you work all shifts; days, afternoons and nights?

Essential: Demonstrated excellent customer handling skills and excellent telephone technique?
Desirable: Do you have an understanding of medical terminology?
Essential: Demonstrated high volume office experience and working within a team environment?
