About the facility

Barwon Health Occupational Therapy Service promotes and provides leadership and excellence in clinical practice, clinical education and in research and development activities. The service is provided to all wards of University Hospital Geelong. This service covers a wide range of clinical areas including; Surgical, Medical, Orthopaedics, Neurology, Paediatrics and Emergency. The Occupational Therapy department also offers an acute outpatient specialised hand therapy service for traumatic hand injuries and elective hand surgery.

Barwon Health’s McKellar Centre offers a range of client centred rehabilitation services that enable people to make a dynamic recovery. 

About the role

Are you ready to take on the challenge of a leadership role? Barwon Health is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapy Clinical Manager to lead and enhance our contemporary, safe and effective Occupational Therapy Service.

As the Clinical Manger Occupational Therapy you will Lead and develop a contemporary, safe and effective Occupational Therapy service at Barwon Health.

You will be responsible for the clinical governance of all Occupational Therapists at Barwon Health as well as the day to day operational oversight of those which report through to the role. As an Allied Health leader you will also be expected to lead beyond Occupational Therapy, including representation of Allied Health on relevant committees or forums and/ or taking portfolio responsibility for an area of work/service delivery. At all times you will be expected to lead and be governed by the values of Barwon Health.
