About the role
As the Learning Development Officer, you will be responsible for providing and coordinating training assessment activities and career advice for our non-clinical staff. This is a new role within the organisational development team that will initially review and implement the recommendations made from a recent organisational Training Needs Analysis.
Duties of the Learning and Development Officer include but are not limited to:
- Establishing partnerships and liaising with external training providers to deliver appropriate courses for identified training needs
- Providing recommendations on required training and on the methods for training.
- Designing and facilitating learning programs that meet industry expectations and provide meaningful learning experiences
- Establishing a resource network to advise employees in relation to possible career pathways and areas of potential future training and employment
