About the role 

As the Enrolled Nurse you will be responsible, under the supervision and delegation of the Registered Nurse, for the provision of consumer focused holistic nursing care to those assigned to you in order to achieve desired clinical outcomes.  At all times the Enrolled Nurse retains responsibility for their actions and remains accountable in providing delegated nursing care.

Your flexibility to work days, evenings and night duty will provide opportunities to further expand your knowledge across the Aged Care Directorate which support EN roles.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing the highest level of resident care possible.
• Ensure that quality and practice standards are met at all times.
• Perform procedures such as administering medications, wound dressing, taking measurements, calibrating equipment, assisting registered nurses and helping residents with hygiene, feeding and other activities.
• Use computer-based delivery systems and complete electronic documentation.
• Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills.
