About the facility
Barwon Health North is a brand new $30 million two storey facility located in the Northern Suburbs of Geelong to provide a state of the art flexible health facility to meet the growing needs of the community.
Barwon Health North Urgent Care will provide accessible healthcare close to home and to public transport bridging the gap between the acute settings at the University Hospital Geelong which will allow access to walk in services at a local level. These roles will be part of a progressive and integrated team delivering services for the Northern Suburbs of Geelong.
About the role
We are currently seeking expressions of interests from Registered Nurses who are interested in joining the Barwon Health North Urgent Care Centre.
Working closely under the clinical leadership of the nurse practitioner the role will provide quality patient care using evidence based approach for managing minor injury and health issues, which require immediate attention.
It will link in with a multidisciplinary team of staff who will work to provide service coordination where possible to ensure broader health and well-being issues are supported. This role will also ensure service delivery to patients aligns with Community Health philosophy, Wellness and Re ablement principles and the Social Model of Health.
