About the facility
Bellerine Centre 6 North is a 28 bed unit, encompassing General Medicine, Renal and Gastroenterology. The staff are highly-skilled, professional, friendly and dedicated, taking pride in providing high quality, safe healthcare. We strive to deliver quality health care to clients through a multi-disciplinary approach.
About the role
We are seeking dynamic, highly motivated Registered Nurse to be part of the team. You will be responsible for providing care that is patient centred, safe and of a high quality.
As the successful applicant, you will have an interest in general medical nursing, experience of working in Acute Care and the ability to work within a team environment. You will have a passion to provide high quality patient care, the ability to work a flexible roster and an interest in quality improvement. Clinical experience will focus on developing patient assessment skills and interventions aimed at providing optimal patient outcomes.
Duties of your role will include, but are not limited to:
- Delivery of consumer centred care that meets best practice standards and in line with Barwon Health requirements
- Provide quality patient care using an evidence based approach
- Establish and maintain effective communication within a multi-disciplinary team to ensure patients receive quality ongoing care
