About the role

In your role, you will report to the Community Palliative Care Clinical Nurse Consultant and are responsible for providing advanced and senior palliative care clinical practice to people utilising acute-based services primarily in the non-malignant areas of healthcare. You will work within an interdisciplinary team context, and across the palliative care program in all acute settings. You will enhance the team’s capacity to work in shared care situations while also providing clinical leadership, education and support to palliative care colleagues, and generalist and/or other specialty staff. The Community Palliative Care program operates Monday to Sunday with nursing staff working a rotating roster of 8 hour shifts which includes weekends.
