About the facility 

Services your department provides, additional projects or research, plans for growth, developments, brand new’ state-of –the-art’ equipment, awards won, number of beds, programs etc. The Barwon Health Physiotherapy Department provides services to the Geelong/Barwon Region in a range of clinical settings. We are a large department with a focus on achieving optimal patient outcomes through positive teamwork, staff development and best practice. The role will be located at the McKellar Rehabilitation Centre in North Geelong.

About the role 

This role is responsible for providing high quality evidence based physiotherapy services to inpatient clients at the McKellar Rehabilitation Centre. Being a Grade 2 role, the position includes supervision of junior clinical staff and undergraduate students. The role will involve working within the multidisciplinary team across a range of streams within the Inpatient Rehabilitation Centre, as well as providing day in lieu backfill for staff working weekend shifts. Our service aims to support patients to achieve their rehab goals and maximise their independence.

Occasional work on Saturdays will be required with this position.
