About the role

At Barwon Health we recognise that our people are the lifeblood of the organisation, and this role is pivotal on delivering outcomes on our Strategic Plan Pillar “Our people at their best”. As an experienced, forward thinking and proactive Talent Acquisition Advisor, your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to;

  • Facilitate the movement of our managers to becoming leaders through facilitating our new Leadership Development programs.
  • Design and implement an organisation wide Living the Values program to support culture transformation.
  • Develop and implement appropriate team building intervention programs to build a healthy and positive culture at Directorate and work unit level.
  • Act as a partner and consultant, building internal capabilities and engagement – and supporting our on-going transformation.
  • Monitor progress of training courses and evaluate their effectiveness.
  • You will be involved across all aspects of an L&D and OD role to create and implement training programs to support the development of a high performance culture.
  • Create and deliver content for instructor-led sessions (agendas, participant activities/content, facilitator notes)

To be considered for this role you will need to meet the following criteria:

  • Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Phycology, Organisational Development or related discipline.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience within the fields of Organisation Development, Human Resources and/or Leadership Development, preferably in a health service environment. Candidates with a clinical background relevant but not essential.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience with the HR strategy development, Change management, design and delivery of Organisational Development programs and capability building frameworks.
  • Accreditation in talent profiling assessment tools including 360 feedback tools highly desirable.
  • Strong communication, relationship management and influencing skills.
  • Excellent facilitation skills, strong team player and a passionate self-starter.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects desirable.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of learning & coaching methodologies, principles and processes to successfully entrench learning objectives and behaviours across an organisation

Selection Criteria Essential: Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Phycology, Organisation Development or related discipline.
Essential: Extensive knowledge and experience within the fields of Organisation Development/Human Resources and Leadership Development.
Essential: Extensive knowledge and experience with the HR strategy development, Change management, design and delivery of Organisational Development programs and capability building frameworks.
Essential: High level of computer literacy; sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
Essential: Extensive knowledge and use of HRIS systems in particular Talent management systems and online performance review tools.
Desirable: Accreditation in talent profiling assessment tools including 360 feedback tools
Desirable: Project management experience
Desirable: Exposure to the interpretation and application of awards and industrial agreements.
