About the facility 

MHDAS provides mental health treatment and care to people of all ages in the Barwon region. Its services include a drug and alcohol service, five adult mental health teams, three young adult teams, a child and adolescent team and a 32 bed adult inpatient unit.

The Lived Experience Program at MHDAS is undergoing expansion with many exciting new peer programs on the horizon.

About the role 

Guided by the Lived Experience Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the Peer Personality Program which provides one on one peer support and a group program to people who have had a 'personality disorder' diagnosis and/or who have a trauma history. 

As the Senior Peer Worker, you will provide expert input into the development of new peer programs, as well as supervise and mentor other peer workers.

This is a full-time position with the successful applicant expected to work 0.5 FTE in the senior role (Level 3 peer worker) and also 0.5 FTE delivering groups and individual support in the Peer Personality Program (Level 2 peer worker).
