About the facility 

The South West Alliance of Rural Health (SWARH) is an alliance of public health agencies covering 33 physical sites in the South West of Victoria. SWARH connects all public acute hospitals and associated health service in the region through the delivery of information technology services. This enables each of the public acute hospitals and associated health services within the region to improve service delivery and gain returns on investment not possible on their own. Barwon Health is party to this unincorporated arrangement and therefore treats the arrangement as a join operation, taking a share of the operations to account. SWARH’s principal place of business is Ryot Street, Warrnambool Victoria, Australia.

About the role 

As the SWARH IT Service Desk Office you will be required to:

• Provide excellent customer service and I.T support for our customers
• Provide a high quality and informed focus for ICT development, performance and information at selected SWARH sites
• Assist in the management of customer support in line with the overall SLA targets defined under the SWARH SLA agreement with our customers
• Participate in continuous improvement activities in relation to customer support services for ICT related matters
• Participate in meetings as part of the SWARH Customer Services Team and other organisational meetings as required
• Participate in efficiency and innovation to provide better service outcomes for our customers
• Contribute to engendering a culture of staff participation and empowerment to drive accountability for service delivery aligned to the SWARH strategic plan.
