About the facility  

Barwon Health, based in Geelong, Victoria, is one of the largest and most comprehensive regional health services in Australia, providing the full spectrum from primary care, community services, aged care, rehabilitation, mental health, emergency and acute care and employing over 7,000 staff. Barwon Health has consistently received awards for being at the forefront of high quality health care services to the community and has been highly successful when accredited against the National Safety and Quality Standards in Oct. 2013.  We are the major teaching hospital for the Deakin Medical School and have an active and growing research base.

About the role 

If you enjoy being challenged and want to make a difference to clinical outcomes, this is the role for you.  The role will focus on the implementation of the Delirum Care Pathway into University Hospital Geelong aiming to improve the experience and clinical outcomes for patients with delirium. 

Located within the Practice Development Unit, this role will be additionally supported by the Clinical Director Aged Care and the Delirium Care Expert Advisory Group.

The role is temporary part time until June 2020
