About the facility 

South West Alliance of Rural Health (SWARH) is a virtual organisation within the south west of Victoria, Australia covering 60000 square kilometres from Melbourne to the South Australian border, from the coast to 150 kilometres inland. SWARH services all the ICT requirements of its 50 or more members and customers. SWARH members comprise of public hospitals with customers being non-government organisations, community health centres, bush nursing agencies, medical clinics, pharmacies and other government organisations.

About the role 

The primary purpose of the Customer Service Officer is to provide efficient and effective delivery of ICT services facilitating resolution of incidents, service requests, and ensuring positive customer experience and outcomes.

Your duties in the role include but aren’t limited to:

  • Provide effective technical (ICT) support to all SWARH customers and staff
  • Ensure ITSM tools are being used to assist in the measurement and reporting on SWARH support
  • KPIs for all SWARH services
  • Ensure incidents requests and problems are appropriately managed and escalated for assistance as required.
  • As required travel and provide onsite support to SWARH members located across the region
  • Maintenance of knowledge articles
  • Participation in 24/7 on call roster.
