About the facility 

Barwon health is the major regional health provider for the Barwon South West region. It is Victoria’s largest regional health service with one of the busiest hospitals in the state, University Hospital. We serve over 500,000 people through the efforts of over 6,500 staff and more than 1000 volunteers. We provide care at all stages or life and circumstance.

About the role 

The change manager will play a key role in ensuring projects meet objectives on time and on budget by increasing employee adoption and usage. The position is responsible for developing standards and capability for Change Management at Barwon Health.  The Change Manager may also provide direct support and coaching to all levels of managers and supervisors as they help their direct reports through transitions. The change manager will work to drive faster adoption, higher ultimate utilisation of and proficiency with the changes that impact employees. These improvements will increase benefit realisation, value creation, ROI and the achievement of results and outcomes.

You will have extensive experience in Organisational and Project Change Management, as well as highly developed communication and leadership skills. The successful applicant will be passionate about change management, works well within a dynamic team environment and has the ability to communicate at all levels of an organisation. Experience working within a PMO or Portfolio office is highly desirable as is the ability to understand health service operations, including funding policy, roles, and strategic health planning.

Essential: Tertiary degree in a relevant field and/or a proven record of success, leadership and administration in a change management environment
Essential: Change Management qualifications (Prosci, Change First, etc)

Essential: Organisational Change Management experience particularly managing and coordinating people impacts, resource demands and communications
