About JIGSAW 

The Barwon Health Jigsaw Youth Mental Health, Drugs and Alcohol service is an integral part of the wider Barwon Health Community Mental Health and Drug and Alcohol service. It provides specialist mental health services to young people aged 16 to 25. Jigsaw Corio is based in the vibrant Corio shopping centre which is located close to all your transport facilities and only a short drive to the waterfront.

About the role 

Barwon health has the opportunity for a dynamic Homeless Dual Diagnosis Clinician to become part of the team at Jigsaw Corio. The position will provide mental health, drug and alcohol care to a cohort of complex young people aged 16-25 years old in the Barwon region. The role is responsible for the delivery of best practice, evidence based treatment and support to young people with emerging or established mental health difficulties.

Selection Criteria Essential: Can you please list Barwon Health's values?

Essential: Formal professionally recognised qualifications in Psychiatric Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Social Work or Clinical Psychology
Essential: Current Victorian Drivers Licence
Desirable: Thorough knowledge of the objectives and provisions of the Mental Health act (1986) and its recent amendments.
Desirable: Knowledge of key homelessness policy frameworks and strategic plans
