About the facility
The Redeveloped Surgical Services at University Hospital, Geelong includes 10 operating rooms, anaesthesia and recovery, perioperative service and a discrete day procedure facility with a total of 16,000 operations a year across a number of surgical specialities.
About the role
The Registered Nurse is responsible for the provision of patient / client / resident focused holistic nursing care to those assigned to him/her, in order to achieve desired clinical outcomes. The Grade 2 Registered nurse will have a permanent position on night duty working 60 hours per fortnight on our 32 bed surgical ward. These hours are worked on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday nights.
