About the Facility

Barwon Health, based in Geelong, Victoria, is one of the largest and most comprehensive regional health services in Australia, providing the full spectrum from primary care, community services, aged care, rehabilitation, mental health, emergency and acute care and employing over 6,500 staff. Barwon Health has consistently received awards for being at the forefront of high quality health care services to the community and has been highly successful when accredited against the National Safety and Quality Standards in Oct. 2013.  We are the major teaching hospital for the Deakin Medical School and have an active and growing research base.

About the role

To provide  outstanding levels of customer service to patients and public in our ED, whilst providing vital clerical support to the ED Nursing and Medical staff, and assisting the ED Administration Manager in promoting Barwon Health’s Private Patient Strategies

We currently have a part-time vacancy within the Emergency Department which on average is 38 hrs per fortnight. Rotating roster which takes in each day of the week, shift hours are 1200-2030.
