About the facility

The Barwon Health Mental Health Drug & Alcohol Services (BMHDAS) provide intensive assessment, treatment and community support to the Barwon region for people experiencing, or at risk of experiencing, mental health and drug & alcohol issues, and their families.

About the role

As the Mental Health Access Clinician you will provide a single point of access to individuals and their families wanting to access MHDAS in a timely and coordinated manner and in the most appropriate service location. Service providers will understand and appreciate culturally differences as expressed in lifestyles, values and experiences that exist in the community, and take these differences into account in the clinical response through collaborative decision making with the individual and their family. This is a Permanent Full Time position 64 hours per fortnight
