• Registered Nurse Grade 2
• Medication Endorsed Enrolled Nurse (Level 2)

About Barwon Health’s General and Specialist Surgical Unit  

Our acute general and specialist surgical wards are located across two buildings and include the following:

University Hospital Geelong

• Heath Wing 6 (HW6) –  32 bed General Surgical, Upper GI, Colorectal and Urology Ward.
• Heath Wing 5 (HW5) – 28 bed Gynaecological, Vascular, Oral faciomaxillary, ENT and Plastics Surgery.
• Baxter Wing 5 (BW5)– 32 bed Orthopaedic Unit

Young Surgical Centre

• Youang Surgical Centre Level 2 (YSC2L2) – 24 bed Short Stay Surgical Unit.

 About you  

As the successful applicant you will:

• Have excellent time management, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrate sound clinical knowledge and excellent clinical skills,
• Provide evidence based, high quality care to patients.
• Deliver consumer-centred care that meets best practice standards and in line with Barwon Health requirements.
