About the facility

Formed in 1998, Barwon Health is one of the largest and most comprehensive regional health services in Australia, providing care at all stages of life and circumstance. Health services available through Barwon Health cover the full spectrum from primary care, community services, aged care, rehabilitation, mental health, emergency and acute care. With the exception of neurosurgery and transplantation, virtually all other specialties are available through the University Hospital Geelong.

About the role 

We are seeking dynamic, highly motivated Registered Nurses to be part of the medical nursing team.

Applicants who would like to work permanent, part time in the Acute Pool are also welcome to apply.

You will be responsible for providing care that is patient centred, safe and of a high quality, and may work in the following specialties:

• General medical
• Respiratory
• Gastroenterology
• Renal
• Endocrinology
• Infectious diseases

To be successful in this role you will have an interest in general medical nursing, experience of working in Acute Care and the ability to work within a team environment. You will have a passion to provide high quality patient care, the ability to work a flexible roster and an interest in quality improvement. Clinical experience will focus on developing patient assessment skills and interventions aimed at providing optimal patient outcomes. 

You will work with a dedicated team of professionals who maintain extensive knowledge and experience. You will have support and guidance from fellow team members and management who exhibit our Barwon Health values, respect, compassion, commitment, accountability and innovation.
