About the facility 

The Barwon Health Speech Pathology service provides Acute Care, Rehabilitation, Sub-acute care, Community and Mental Health services for the Barwon South West region. There are 35 Speech Pathologists employed within Barwon Health. Speech Pathology staff are supported in their professional practice by attendance at professional development opportunities, regular review of evidence based practice, professional supervision and access to training and competency packages.

About the role 

An exciting opportunity exists for a Grade 1 Speech Pathologist to join the Barwon Health Grade 1 rotational program. This is a 4 part rotation covering acute, sub-acute inpatients, sub-acute outpatients and community health. You will be responsible for the provision of assessment, diagnosis and management of adult and paediatric clients across the continuum of care. As the successful applicant you will have excellent time management and negotiation skills as well as an understanding of and commitment to the principles of consumer centred care and effective multi-disciplinary management of clients.
