About the facility 

The Barwon Health Mental Health Drugs & Alcohol Service provides assessment and treatment to consumers with serious mental health issues living in the Geelong region. The Community Rehabilitation Facility (CRF) provides an extended residential service, while the co-located Prevention and Recovery Care (PARC) service offers a step up and step down service; offered as either residential, day program or outreach support. Both aspects of the service work within a recovery framework as a best practice model, and aspire to the care delivered to the consumer being of the highest standard.

About the role 

As the Registered Psychiatric Nurse you will be undertaking the duties of the Recovery Facilitator. Your responsibilities are to support consumers to identify their recovery journey and collaborate with them in their development of an individual recovery plan; Ensure practice complies with Barwon Health expectations, policies and procedures and to ensure to practice within legal frameworks and consult with line/facility manager when required.  

As the successful candidate you will need to have demonstrated compliance within AHPRA’s registration standards.
