About the facility
Barwon Health’s McKellar Centre is located only minutes from the centre of Geelong. It is situated on a vibrant community asset with parkland surrounds and incorporates state of the art equipment. The centre offers a range of rehabilitation services that enable people to make a dynamic recovery. It is a 100 bed inpatient facility offering rehabilitation in palliative care, Geriatric Evaluation and Management, stroke, trauma, orthopaedic and amputee service. At the Inpatient Rehabilitation Centre, we offer focused professional development with dedicated nursing educators on site, set within new state-of-the-art facilities.
About the role
Do you have a passion for Geriatric Evaluation and Management nursing and are dedicated to providing quality, patient focused care? If so, Barwon Health now has a position available for a Grade 2 Registered Nurses within its Inpatient Rehabilitation Centre in North Geelong. You will have the opportunity to be part of a highly skilled, professional, friendly and dedicated team who take pride in providing a high quality service. In this role you will assist in the planning and delivery of a high quality service within Barwon Health’s Medical Service. As the Registered Nurse you will be responsible for the provision of patient / client / resident focused holistic nursing care to those assigned to you, in order to achieve desired clinical outcomes. As the successful candidate you will need to demonstrate a sound level of nursing skills.
