About the facility

Barwon Health Mental Health, Drugs and Alcohol Services (MHDAS) has partnered with Western Victoria PHN to deliver the HeadtoHelp Hub. HeadtoHelp is a collaborative initiative of Victoria’s Primary Health Networks (PHNs) funded by the Australian Government. HeadtoHelp Hubs are designed to offer multi-disciplinary and evidence-informed care across the community, complementing mental health services already provided in the community, rather than replacing or duplicating existing services, by assisting people to understand the most appropriate type of support they need and navigate their way to those services that will meet their individual needs. Hubs are not designed to offer long term care but offer expertise in assessment of needs, information, linkage, support and packages of focused brief intervention care to cover the short term. (https://headtohelp.org.au/)
