About the facility 

MHDAS is entering a new phase of co-design of our service system with people who access our services and our wider community. This will build on our nationally recognized unique cultural approach to the challenges of recovery oriented service delivery to redesign our service system.

We provide integrated and recovery oriented mental health, drugs and alcohol assessment, treatment and community support to people of all ages within the Barwon region experiencing, or at risk of experiencing, mental health and drug & alcohol issues, and their families.

Our service is internationally recognised for its innovative clinical programs and integrated models of practice that are client centred, accessible and family inclusive.

About the role 

We are looking for an innovative and passionate manager to provide vision, leadership and financial accountability to the designated program areas of Emergency Mental Health, Pacer and Consultation Liaison. This is an exciting position where you will be empowered and supported to enact change to improve the delivery of our AIS services. You will report to the Program Manager of AIS and will also have direct reports that include Registered Psychiatric Nurses, Allied Health Professionals and Psychologists. The successful applicant will need to have formal professionally recognised qualifications in relevant health field (i.e. Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Social Work, Psychology) and have previous management/leadership experience.

This role operates within office hours (does not include shift work) - and would be perfect for those wanting stability and consistency from their work life.
