About the facility

Aged Psychiatry Services are located at De Forest House which is in the grounds of the McKellar Centre North Geelong.  Care provided is community based where most clients are seen in their own environment. This service is for people over 65 years with existing complex mental illness, those who develop a mental illness later in life and those who have severe behavioural problems associated with dementia.

About the role

The Aged Psychiatry Team requires the services on an Enrolled Nurse, one day per week on a permanent basis. The nurse will work under the guidance of a Case Manager and assist in providing Psychosocial Interventions, Review Mental State and be a major player in providing the best care in the community.
