About the facility 

The Special Care Nursery at Barwon Health is a level 5 capability with capacity for up to 20 cots, staffed for 13. The unit is a vibrant nursery and includes 2 resuscitation bays with respiratory support.

About the role 

The Registered Nurse/Registered Midwife Grade 2 will work closely with the Associate Nurse Unit Manager and Clinical Nurse Specialist staff to provide care to neonates from 31 weeks gestation. Staffing ratios 1:3 and self-rostering is available covering all shifts. There is also opportunity to work 12 hours shifts in some instances.
