About the facility 

Barwon Health’s McKellar Centre is located only minutes from the centre of Geelong. There is a 100 bed Inpatient Rehabilitation Centre (IRC) offering Rehabilitation, Palliative care and Geriatric Evaluation and Management.

The South Wing is located in the IRC. It consists of 34 beds providing specialist rehabilitation for orthopaedic, spinal injury, acquired brain injury, trauma, amputation and reconditioning patients.

About the role 

You will provide leadership in the planning and delivery of a high quality service with the support of a dedicated team. You will be responsible for the clinical and financial performance of the South Wing with support from the IRC Manager.

You will undertake budgeting, recruitment and quality improvement initiatives with the support of the Community Health, Rehabilitation and Palliative Care directorate. You will also have a variety of opportunities to further develop your professional skill sets.

Essential: Registered Nurse with Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency
Essential: Postgraduate Qualifications in Rehabilitation and/or relevant speciality
