About the facility

Belmont Community Rehabilitation Centre services are delivered according to a care plan that is based on goals negotiated with the client and their careers. Our new state of the art facilities are located on site with Belmont Primary Care, Community Nursing, Dental, Mental Health and Immunisation services.

About the role

This role has the potential to be combined with position 157678 totalling 64 hours/fortnight for the successful candidate.

In your role as a Grade 2 Speech Pathologist within Belmont Community Rehabilitation Centre, you will be an integral member of the interdisciplinary rehabilitation team to support clients and carers to achieve an optimum quality of life. This is achieved through provision of current best Practice Speech Pathology, within a comprehensive, coordinated interdisciplinary service based on client centred care utilising Shared Care Planning. All activities you undertake in this position will reflect current best practice standards for Speech Pathology. There is opportunity to combine this role with another temporary Part-time Speech Pathology Maternity Leave position.

Essential: Bachelor of Applied Science (Speech Pathology) or equivalent.
Essential: Competent in performing Videofluoroscopic Swallowing Studies.
Essential: Current Driver’s Licence.
Essential: Excellent team-work, organisation, time management, negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
Essential: Experience working in the Community Rehabilitation Centre setting.
