About the Facility

Barwon Health’s McKellar Centre is a recently upgraded facility located only minutes from the centre of Geelong. The Centre has a 100 bed inpatient facility offering rehabilitation in Palliative care, Geriatric evaluation and management, Stroke, Trauma, orthopaedic and amputee service. Residential Aged Care facilities are co-located onsite in Wallace Lodge and Blakiston Lodge; with the Alan David Lodge facility located on Surfcoast Highway, Charlemont. The McKellar Centre is situated on a vibrant community asset with parkland surrounds and incorporates state of the art equipment.

About the role

Your primary role is to undertake duties of either cleaning, foodservice, and patient transport duties; in accordance with the Aged Care Accreditation Standards, and the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards.  We aim to ensure a clean and safe environment for residents, patients, visitors and staff; and to provide hospitality services to in a timely, courteous, and hygienic manner.
