About the facility
Barwon Health’s exciting Public Health Unit servicing the Barwon South West region is initially focussing on COVID-19 preparedness, response and facilitation, with a particular focus initially on the COVID 19 Vaccination program. It will then later focus on other key areas of communicable and chronic diseases to improve Public Health to the entire region.
About the role
Make a difference to members of our community by providing short-term effective & efficient customer focused administration/secretarial duties at COVID-19 with our committed Inreach team.
To be successful in this role you will have the following skills and experience:
- Experience in Reception / Customer Service / Clerical / Administrative / Data entry or Internal customer service environments
- Intermediate computer literacy and skill, including the proficient use of the Internet, Word, Excel, Outlook
- Excellent verbal and written communication including highly accurate record keeping
- Previous COVID-19 Testing site administration or Call Centre experience is highly desirable.
As the successful applicant(s) your duties will include but are not limited to:
- Undertaking / Coordination of activities to ensure position objectives are met and that the expectations of customers, both internal and external are also met
- Responding to general enquiries within scope of the position
- Escalation of enquiries / issues if appropriate
- Assisting with providing clerical, administrative, medical secretarial or internal customer services for the relevant Manager
- Accurate Data entry
- Development of documentation and submission to appropriate staff member for checking
