About the facility
Barwon Health, Central Resource Unit (CRU) provides emergent and non-emergent nursing staff replacement for all bed based services. We provide staffing resources to meet every day operational needs of clinical units for nursing and support staff for bed based units across Barwon Health.
About the role
The Central Resource Unit Clinical Support Nurse provides clinical and administrative assistance to a large part time and casual Nursing Bank. Core duties include:
- On-boarding new staff
- Co-ordinating and conducting CRU Basic Life Support Update sessions
- Co-ordinating CRU Smart Move Smart Lift Update sessions
- Monitoring Aged Care Practice Update Compliance
- Monitoring Service Level Agreement (SLA) compliance
- Mandatory Competency compliance reporting
- Responding to RISKMANs
- Pool Rostering
