Visiting Medical Specialist in Orthopaedic Surgery
Applications are invited from suitably experienced and qualified Medical Practitioners with a Fellowship or equivalent recognition from the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons for the position of Visiting Medical Specialist in Orthopaedic Surgery at Barwon Health, the University Hospital, Geelong. Applicants must be registered with AHPRA.
The successful applicant will work with a team of Visiting Orthopaedic Surgeons in the provision of Outpatient/Inpatient surgical care and Orthopaedic surgical training. The successful applicant will be expected to contribute to the full scope of general orthopaedic duties including adult and paediatric on call cover as required by Barwon Health and according to the Unit roster. The fractional/sessional allocation for this position is zero. The terms and conditions for this appointment are in accordance with the Barwon Health Visiting Medical Specialists certified agreement. The appointment will be for 1 year. Applicants with an interest in lower limb arthroplasty, foot and ankle surgery as well as trauma are encouraged to apply.

Excellent pay and conditions will be in accordance with the Barwon Health visiting medical specialist certified agreement.
