About the facility 

Barwon Health's Food Service is a large department over 2 sites, University Hospital Geelong (UHG) and the McKellar Centre. Our Food Services provide over 3000 meals per day to residents, clients and patients seven days a week. Our Cafeteria service to staff and visitors is open seven days a week and requires a variety of duties by our large team. 

About the role 

Barwon Health is looking to appoint Food Service Assistants on a permanent part time basis located at the McKellar centre. It is essential that the successful applicant can plate and serve meals, prepare hot and cold food items and beverages and always has the consumer at the forefront with all service provided. You should possess or be willing to obtain a Food Handlers Certificate. Previous experience in providing exceptional customer service, well- developed interpersonal and communication skills with an alibility to work in a multi discipline team is essential.
