About the facility

Barwon Health has five major community health centres, Corio, Belmont, Newcomb, Torquay and Anglesea which provide a range of services to the Barwon region. The Belmont Community Health Centre’s services include counselling, diabetic educators, physiotherapy, nursing, occupational therapy, speech pathology dental services and many more.

About the role

Barwon Health facilitates a Social Support /Planned Activity Group program throughout the Geelong and Surf Coast regions. The Social Support/Planned Activity Group program provides meaningful activities for predominantly older people but also younger disabled people. The program aims to improve independence through innovative, person centred activities. The main objective is to work within a team based environment facilitating group activities that are client focussed and promote reablement. This position will be required to work at any of our programs including Belmont, Corio, Torquay or Anglesea .
