• Registered Nurse Grade 2
• Medication Endorsed Enrolled Nurse (Level 2)

About Barwon Health’s General and Specialist Medicine  

Our acute general and specialist medicine wards are located across two buildings and include the following:

University Hospital Geelong

• Heath Wing 2 (HW2) – 18 bed neurology and stroke unit.
• Bellarine Centre 6 North (BC6N) – 28 bed renal and general medical ward with 5 medical day stay chairs.
• Baxter 7 (Bax 7) – 32 bed general medicine, endocrinology and infectious diseases unit.
• Heath Wing 7 (HW7) – 32 bed general medicine and respiratory ward.
• Birdsey Wing 7 (BW7) – A new 16 bed medical gastroenterology ward currently recruiting staff to commence operations in 2023.

Young Surgical Centre

• Rapid Assessment and Planning Unit (RAPU) – 16 bed short stay medical unit.

As the successful applicant you will:

• Have excellent time management, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrate sound clinical knowledge and excellent clinical skills,
• Provide evidence based, high quality care to patients.
• Deliver consumer-centred care that meets best practice standards and in line with Barwon Health requirements.
