About the facility
Barwon health is the major regional health provider for the Barwon South West region. It is Victoria’s largest regional health service with one of the busiest hospitals in the state, University Hospital. We serve over 500,000 people through the efforts of over 7,000 staff and more than 1000 volunteers. We provide care at all stages or life and circumstance through a wide range of services from emergency and acute to mental health, primary care, community services, aged care, and subacute/rehabilitation. Care is provided to the community through over 21 key locations throughout the region.
About the role
An exciting opportunity exists for a suitably experienced Registered Nurse to join the Clinical Education and Training Team in a temporary Clinical Support Nurse role strating in January until May 2021.
You will work as an active part of the Graduate Team directly supporting and guiding graduate nurses working within the clinical units. You can expect to work at both the University Hospital Geelong and McKellar Centre. You will also be required to conduct clinical skill assessments, assist with graduate PD sessions and study days.
You will be supported by the Graduate Program Coordinator and the members of the Graduate Team to further develop your skills as a Clinical Support Nurse.
