About the facility

Barwon Health’s McKellar Centre is a recently upgraded facility located only minutes from the centre of Geelong. The centre is a 100 bed inpatient facility offering rehabilitation in Palliative care, Geriatric evaluation and management, Stroke, Trauma, orthopaedic and amputee service. The McKellar Centre offers a range of professional aged care services. It is situated on a vibrant community asset with parkland surrounds and incorporates state of the art equipment.

About the role

In your role of Allied Health Assistant – Grade 2 (Physiotherapy), you will contribute to the care of Barwon Health patients and clients through the delivery of patient centred, evidence based Physiotherapy services, in the designated clinical areas, as directed by, and under the supervision of, the treating Physiotherapist. You will also undertake a range of non-clinical duties that support the provision of Physiotherapy services. You will promote an environment of co-operation for continual improvement of team performance.
