The Redeveloped Surgical Services at University Hospital, Geelong includes 10 operating rooms, anaesthesia and recovery, perioperative service and a discrete day procedure facility with a total of 16,000 operations a year across a number of surgical specialities.

Are you a Registered Nurse with energy and adaptability looking to join a friendly team based at the Leading Regional Health Care Service 2013? Do you have a passion for nursing and patient care? Barwon Health’s Surgical ward has an opportunity not to be missed. We are seeking a Registered Nurse for Maternity leave cover.

In this role you will be responsible for the provision of patient focused holistic nursing care to those assigned to you, in order to achieve desired clinical outcomes. As a Registered nurse, you will also facilitate service coordination where possible to ensure broader health and well-being issues are supported. You will need to proactively and correctly assesses possible problems and takes actions to solve them accordingly, whilst building and maintaining the best possible relationships with patients and their families or carers.
