About the facility

Barwon Health Mental Health and Drug & Alcohol Services (BHMDAS) provide intensive assessment, treatment and community support to the Barwon region for people experiencing, or at risk of experiencing, mental health and drug & alcohol issues.

About the role

For one of our teams, the Corio Adult Community Mental Health Team, we are currently looking to fill a upcoming contracted maternity leave position. We invite Occupational Therapist, Clinical Psychologist, Social Worker or Registered Nurse, with preferable post mental health qualifications, to apply.

Your role as a Community Mental Health Clinician is to provide assessment, treatment and recovery based interventions within a multidisciplinary team context to individuals and their families who experience a serious mental illness and live in the Barwon Region. The broader service delivery model of Mental Health, Drugs & Alcohol Services (MHDAS) includes provision of high quality interventions that are consumer centred, family/carer inclusive and are delivered in a timely and coordinated manner in line with the Victorian Mental health Act 2014.
