About the facility
Barwon Health’s Medical Imaging Service (BMI) is an innovative team using state of the art equipment to provide comprehensive imaging and interventional radiology services to the Barwon South West Region.
Our medical imaging nurses provide clinical support at University Hospital Geelong (including our busy catheter lab), and two other sites located at Geelong Private Hospital and McKellar Centre North Geelong. Working collaboratively with on-site radiologists, radiographers and administrative teams we pride ourselves on providing high quality consumer focused care.
About the role
As a Registered Nurse in Medical Imaging, you will enjoy diversity, supporting the medical imaging team by providing consumer centred care to patients from Emergency Department (ED), Barwon Health Wards and outpatients attending the imaging department who require nursing support. With flexibility to work in an after-hours setting, once trained there are opportunities to participate in an on-call roster supporting emergency afterhours imaging procedures.
