Barwon Health is one of Victoria's largest regional health care services and the largest employer in the Geelong and surf coast region, employing over 7,500 staff. The People and Culture directorate is a large team (70+) who support and deliver a range of services to the organisation including Employee Relations, Talent Acquisition, Organisational development, Staff Care, Payroll, Salary packaging and OH&S. About the role

As the Director of Workforce Development, it is your role to promote and drive the implementation of Barwon Health’s People Strategy through the development, support and direction to our current and future leaders in areas relating to building organisational and individual capabilities. This includes the subject matter areas of Leadership Development, Inclusion and Diversity, Strategic Workforce Planning, Talent Management, appraisal and coaching on performance, staff engagement and connected development activities, facilitation, and documentation of core processes and guidelines related to Barwon Health’s culture.

With a seat at Barwon Health’s Workforce Governance Committee, you will provide expert advice on organisational development and support the delivery of key initiatives in a multidisciplinary team that will positively influence both clinical and non-clinical workforce.  You will coach Executives, senior managers and leaders from across the organisation to enable our people to be at their best.  You will thrive on being able to deliver people centred initiatives to grow capability both for the short and long term.
