About the facility 

The BSW Telehealth Program aims to enable health care services to design and implement telehealth access in existing and new models of care, and manages and supports use of telehealth systems. The program works with the 12 public health services and 2 Bush Nursing centres in the Barwon South West region. The successful candidates will be supporting all regional health services in their area.

About the role 

The Telehealth Support Officers will work within the regional Telehealth Program providing support to both staff and consumers to help them provide and access health services using technology, including video access and remote monitoring.

There are multiple roles available, and we are looking for staff with an interest in telehealth and digital access to health care who may have skills across any of the following areas:

  • Clinical and clinical support
  • Administration
  • Communication, health promotion and resource development
  • Education and training
  • Technology support

Using your skills you will work as part of a team to promote and educate staff and consumers about telehealth, support staff and consumers to use telehealth technologies, assist with updating processes to embed telehealth into usual clinical practices, manage telehealth platforms, develop resources and maintain online access to regional resources via the SharePoint portal.

You will need the capacity to travel around the region, potentially including some overnight trips.
