About the facility 

The Jigsaw City team is  based in newly renovated and purpose built accommodation in Geelong CBD, close to the Waterfront and its vibrant amenities.

About the role 

Barwon Health has the opportunity for a case manager to become part of the dynamic team at Jigsaw City. The position will provide mental health, drug and alcohol care to  young people aged 16-25 years old in the Barwon region. The role is responsible for the delivery of best practice, evidence based treatment and support to  young people with emerging or established mental health difficulties.

Selection Criteria Essential: Can you please list Barwon Health's values?

Essential: Formal professionally recognised qualifications in Psychiatric Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Social Work or Clinical Psychology (Nurses should be registered with the Victorian Nursing Council as a RPN3)
Essential: A qualification specialising in Alcohol and other Drugs or Addiction studies, equivalent or above the Certificate IV in Alcohol and Other Drugs work, or a willingness to work towards this.
Desirable: A demonstrated high level of clinical skills in the assessment and treatment of young persons with mental health disorders in a community setting.
Desirable: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Desirable: Thorough knowledge of the objectives and provisions of the Mental Health act (1986) and its recent amendments.
