About the role 

A permanent part time position has become available for a theatre scrub scout looking to develop, consolidate and strengthen their skills and knowledge. It will appeal to a scrub scout nurses who possess excellent communication skills, is well organised and has good time management

Essential: Registered Nurse/Midwife with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) together with demonstrated ability to meet the ANMC competencies for the Registered Nurse/Midwife
Essential: Ability to work shifts to cover 24 hours / 7 days a week including an oncall roster
Desirable: Peri-operative certificate in Scrub / Scout, Anaesthetic and Recovery
Desirable: Motivated, enthusiastic, and have the ability to integrate into a busy, dynamic theatre team
Desirable: Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to integrate into an established theatre team
