About the facility

Barwon Health North is a brand new $30 million two storey facility located in the Northern Suburbs of Geelong to provide a state of the art flexible health facility to meet the growing needs of the community.

Barwon Health North provides accessible healthcare close to home and to public transport bridging the gap between the acute settings at the University Hospital Geelong by providing the following services

  • Urgent Care Services
  • Medical Imaging
  • Child and Family Services
  • Healthy at Home (Chronic and Complex Care)
  • Dialysis
  • Specialist Clinics

About the role 

Are you ready to take on the challenge of a leadership role? As the Associate Nurse Unit Manager, you will possess excellent clinical, leadership and management skills; actively participating in generating new ideas and committing to continuous improvement.

You will be registered with AHPRA and be able to demonstrate a significant level of clinical competence, with a proven ability to take a leadership role in strategic and daily issues through your professionalism, relationship building and personal drive. You will have commitment to flexibility and innovation in practice including an evidence-based approach to care and ongoing commitment to research, quality care and customer service.
