About the facility
The Clinical Education and Training Unit leads an integrated approach to clinical education and training, helping Barwon Health to achieve its education goals by delivering, supporting and promoting coordinated, quality education and training across health care roles in Barwon Health and the Barwon South Western region. We comprise of an interprofessional team of clinical educators and support staff across allied health, nursing, midwifery, and medical disciplines, working together to develop clinicians who model excellent practice, challenge poor practice, and inspire others.
About the role
Do you have a passion for learning and development where you will be responsible for providing high quality digital learning solutions with evidence based education design principles? We have just the opportunity for you within the Clinical Education and Training team at Barwon Health!
We are looking for a learning advisor to support the expansion of digital teaching and learning within the Clinical Education and Training team. You will be required to design and create high impact, engaging digital learning experiences for employees at Barwon Health using instructional design methods with the primary focus on transitioning from face to face learning to digital learning.
Duties of the Digital Learning Advisor include but are not limited to:
- Analysing learning needs and working with Subject Matter Experts (SME) or content specialists to create learning materials and experiences
- Drawing on research in educational psychology, educational theory and systems analysis to ensure the most suitable, proven instructional design methods are used within the service
- Implementing strategies to build the capacity of the Clinical Education and Training Team in digital learning
- Adopting a systematic approach to project planning and evaluation
As the successful applicant you will have a Bachelor’s degree or above in an area of study relevant to learning and teaching, educational development, educational technology or adult education.
